Nautical Art:
The Finer Line Gallery is pleased to feature nautical prints by Russ Kramer, John Mecray, and Blaney Harris. In addition we offer fine art photography by French photographer Phillip Plisson and National Geographic photographer Michael Melford.

Russ has been the subject of a one-man show at the Museum of Yachting in Newport, Rhode Island, appeared in Wooden Boat, Yachting and Sail magazines, and will be prominently represented in William Koch;s forthcoming book, Art and Artifacts of The America’s Cup. He is a Fellow and serves as the current President of the American Society of Marine Artists. He has won multiple awards at the Mystic International Marine Art Exhibition, including the prestigious Yachting Award in both 2009 and 2010.
All of Russ’ works are available signed and numbered, limited-edition museum-quality giclee (gee-CLAY) prints on canvas or paper. Giclee prints use dyes which are not susceptible to ultraviolet degradation and are printed on heavy, uncoated 100% cotton, fine-tooth watercolor paper or canvas.

John Mecray is an American realist painter best known for his marine art. Since 1976 John Mecray has published limited edition prints from his paintings of classic racing yachts and associated genre. Between 1976 and 2009 forty-six limited editions and six open editions have been published and distributed worldwide. Please contact us if you would like to see more of his work.

Originally from New York, Blaney Harris received his formal art training at the Boston University School of Fine Arts. Currently residing in Ledyard, CT, Blaney enjoys working in a variety of mediums including pencil, watercolor, pastels and oils. Over the last couple of years, he has focused on plein air painting, documenting the seasons. His background in at-sea navigation, inspired by his years in the Navy, as well as his immense appreciation for Naval History, has led him to pain oil paintings featuring the large sailing vessels of the past.

Sally Caldwell Fisher has had much success Painting whimsical or niave New England art scenes. She has been on the cover of two Yankee magazines and has been featured in U.S. Art, American Artist and numerous other magazines.
